Most people here have never had a lesson.
Plenty of our regulars turned up for the first time having never held a club, and stayed for the bar.

Never swung a club before.
Clubs are available to hire and the party games take about a minute to learn. Kids play too, with an adult alongside.

Numbers on every swing.
Every bay reads ball speed, spin, launch and carry on every shot, on TrackMan or ProTee VX. Use it as an indoor driving range, real balls and true yardages, and January doesn't cost you your swing. Memberships bring the hourly rate down.

Darlington's home of indoor golf.
Three bays on Lingfield Way, open Wednesday to Sunday. Come to work on your swing, take on your mates, or sit in with a coffee and play nine holes badly. Clubs are available to hire if you haven’t got any. New to golf sims? Read how accurate the numbers are, or use a bay as an indoor driving range.
It's independently owned, so the person who books you in and explains the numbers on the screen is usually Michael, who owns it. No franchise script. Two minutes off the A66 with free parking at the door, an easy run from Durham, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Bishop Auckland and Northallerton. If you normally hit balls outdoors, here is how a bay compares with a driving range.

Settle it with a game.
Closest to the Pin
One shot, one green, nearest the flag takes it. Quick, tense, and how most rounds here decide who's buying.
Longest Drive
Wind up and let rip. Biggest carry wins, and the bay puts the number on the screen so nobody can argue.
Virtual Tournaments
Enter GSPro competitions from your bay and play against golfers anywhere in the world, with your scores on the same leaderboard as everyone else's.
We're open Wednesday to Sunday.
The bays are closed Friday 11 – Sunday 13 September. Normal hours either side.

Fantastic setup and top-quality facilities. VF caters for all levels of golfer, whether you're there to practice, play a round with friends, or just get some swings in when the weather isn't great. The two types of simulators are impressive and the overall experience was excellent. Highly recommended!
Went yesterday to try this new venue out and it was amazing. Brilliant atmosphere, friendly/helpful owner and the simulator bays are awesome. Definitely going back and would highly recommend.
Great venue with amazing facilities! We had such a fun time at ladies night and Michael was so warm and welcoming. He gave great advice to me as a total golf beginner. Will definitely be back ☺️
I had a great evening at Virtual Fairways. The space is well utilised and welcoming. Our group had everything explained to us clearly. I can really see how the technology used and advice given could really help you progress at golf. The interactive games were great fun too!

The Christmas do nobody leaves early.
No long table, no set menu, no seating plan. One or two bays from £27 an hour per bay, or the whole venue from £81 an hour — a licensed bar and snacks to the bay, and something for the ones who don't drink. We're taking December bookings now, and Fridays and Saturdays go first.

Never played golf before?
Most of our first-timers have never played. The simulator adapts to complete beginners, the games are easy to pick up, and there's no dress code. It's a relaxed, pressure-free way to try the game.
How much does it cost?
£27 an hour per bay*. Four of you sharing a bay works out around £12.75 each, and packages and memberships bring it down further.
Do I need my own clubs?
Not at all. Clubs are available to hire (£10), or bring your own if you prefer. Just turn up and play.
Can kids and families play?
Kids are always welcome, and it's a good way to get them into the game. Children just need a parent or guardian with them.
